Η μηχανική βλάβη πριν τον απόπλου του από το λιμάνι του Πειραιά για την Αίγινα παρουσίασε το επιβατηγό οχηματαγωγό πλοίο ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝ ΕΛΛΑΣ, είχε σαν αποτέλεσμα να καθυστερήσει το δρομολόγιο.
Στο πλοίο εκτός από τους 130 επιβάτες, υπάρχουν 35 ΙΧ, 13 φορτηγά και έξι δίκυκλα.
